The Art Of Shadows (inspired from M.C.Escher)

This imaginary work is inspired from M.C.Escher's (1898-1972) optical illusions and impossible constructions artworks.. The main idea is focused on an object that has three different shadows depending on the light angle. It casts shadows of the three creatures: knight, horse and eagle. I use it twice . The first one enclosed inside the lantern and you can see its triple shadows casting on the lantern sides. I put it also below the lantern to cast two different shadows on the wall as you can see . Also there are some interesting classic impossible shapes.

The wire frame of the tri-shadow object(Click to enlarge):

And this is animated version of the same tri-shadow object rotated to let you see the shadows more clearly:
http://najeeb.cabspace.com/shadow.mov

The impossible shapes wireframes:
1-

2-

The left side horse object has 2 different shapes can be seen from different angles. You can watch this animated rotated version of the horse:
http://najeeb.cabspace.com/shadowhorse1.mov

The wirframe of the hand/tree hybrid object:

Finally, the wireframe of the whole picture:

I hope you enjoy it.
